Q: What is Barracuda reputation and how do I release my IP from it?
Posted by - NA - on 10 Feb 2009 1:20 PM

A: Starting in September 2008, Barracuda Networks introduced the Barracuda Reputation Block List (BRBL – pronounced "bahr-bel") as a free DNSBL of IP addresses known to send spam. Barracuda Networks develops software that helps prevent the spread of spam and created the BRBL as a mechanism in this process.

In order to remove your IP address from the block list visit http://www.barracudacentral.org/reputation and input your email server's IP address into it. The website will then provide step by step instructions on how you can remove your IP address from the block list.
