A: Here is a sample of an error message you may receive:

"Mail System <e-mail address>: host mx1.smartt.com [69.67.187.116] said: Error 554 Service Unavailable; Client Host [your mail server host] blocked using Barraccuda Reputation: [Barracuda's web link for blacklisted IP addresses]"

If you receive a message similar to this, which includes a web address, it means Barracuda has blocked your IP and placed it on a blacklist. This is because one of your computers inside your local network was recognized as sending email that was recognized as spam or infected by a virus.  If you are certain no computers within your network are currently infected with a virus pelase visit the link provided within the bounced email message and follow the steps provided to remove your IP from the blacklist. If this happens again you will need to run an anti-virus program on all the computers within the network in order to purge the virus from your system.
